Why Displate Metal Posters are Better Than the Average Paper Poster

Growing up, many of us have fond memories of fixing up our bedroom walls with posters of our favorite movies, bands, or celebrities. And with that joy there’s also the struggle of trying to keep them nice, trying to store them without crumpling or tearing. This problem arose when my husband and I got married, as we both were proud owners of extensive poster collections. Our collections featured various genres, from horror classics like “Evil Dead” to romantic dramas like “Chasing Amy.” Each movie poster was delicately rolled up and stored away to preserve its condition.

Regrettably, storing paper posters is not as straightforward as one might think. Unless you happen to have a poster tube lying around, it can be quite a challenge to keep them in peak condition. This is where Displate’s metal posters come into play, providing a better alternative to traditional paper posters.

    Displate

Displate’s metal posters are not only eye-catching and durable, but they’re also incredibly easy to manage. When you feel the urge to change your display and admire a different print, the process is simple and stress-free. All you need to do is carefully take it off the mounting magnet and set it aside. Unlike paper posters that are prone to creasing or tearing, these metal posters are very durable. They stack together neatly, allowing you to easily slide them behind furniture or stash them away in the back of your closet. This durability is really relieving because you don’t have to worry about your favorite posters deteriorating over time. The only potential issue is the risk of denting them, but even that can be easily fixed with a rubber mallet and a flat surface.

Displate offers a vast selection of designs. Some are officially licensed prints, while others showcase the unique artistic styles of various artists. Among our personal favorites are their Godzilla, Fallout, Star Trek, and X-Men prints. They also offer a range of more general designs, from stylish patterns to beautiful landscapes, which could enhance the aesthetic appeal of your media room or any other space in your home or office.

One of the most appealing aspects of Displate posters is how effortlessly they can be hung up. All you need is a piece of masking tape and a magnet, both are included in the box with your print. Simply stick the tape onto the wall, attach the magnet, and then mount your chosen Displate. There’s no more need to waste tape to get your poster up straight. This hassle-free hanging process is one of the many reasons why these posters would make the perfect gift for anyone. And they are very renter friendly which was a concern when my husband and I had our first apartment. We were wary of pushing pin holes in the wall so these were a very good alternative to doing that.

With their huge selection, there is something for everyone. They are always adding designs to their inventory. Whether you’re searching for a design that caters to a nerdy passion or something more refined and formal, the possibilities are endless. A Displate poster is a gift that is sure to be cherished and admired by all. Besides being a unique and beautiful decoration, they also eliminate the struggles of dealing with traditional paper posters. It’s safe to say that anyone would love a Displate poster.
