    Alton Brown Wants Matt Berry to Play Him in Biopic

    Ah yes, the perfect casting. We’re not sure in what universe, but, we could see it. Somehow. Hot on the heels of the 76th Annual Emmy nominations getting announced this morning, American culinary treasure Alton Brown has his sites set on a nominee to play him in a yet-to-be biopic-

    Star and Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Emmy nominee, Matt Berry.

    If you haven’t watched FX’s hilarious vampirical comedy “What We Do In The Shadows,” you’ve been missing out. Taking it’s cues from Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement‘s irreverent 2014 film of the same name, you’ll meet a group of old-world vamps making their way in a true metropolis of civilization, Staton Island. When the FX series first premiered in 2019, fans were instantly drawn to the cast.

    Especially the truly brilliant Berry, who had already had quite the resumé from his work in the UK.

    But Brown, one of our favorite Food Network personalities and authors, really shocked us with today’s declaration.
