“The Boys” Enters The Popcorn Bucket Wars With…This

Prime Video’s irreverent superhero series “The Boys” has entered the popcorn bucket wars with the raunchiest entry yet.

As you’ll see- it’s a penis, just a big ol’ penis. We are assuming the hole to eat the popcorn out of is on the other side.

    War Of The Popcorn Buckets

In March, “Dune: Part 2” was released along with a now iconic popcorn bucket. While the bucket was meant to resemble a sandworm from the books/movies, it also looked like a Fleshlight. This, of course, became a huge meme on the internet, with the movie’s cast even joining in on the joke.

Not to be outdone the upcoming film “Deadpool & Wolverine” released their own popcorn bucket that was more overtly sexual. Having the titular, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) with his mouth wide open. The announcement video done by Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) made the innuendo even more obvious. Last month, Reynolds even declared this an all-out war of the popcorn buckets.

On July 3rd, “The Boys” showrunner Eric Kripke posted the, currently fictitious, phallic popcorn bucket on X (formally Twitter).

Crave a little sausage in your popcorn? Then enjoy our #TheBoys popcorn bucket as you watch a NEW EP TOMORROW!! @TheBoysTV @PrimeVideo

(You'd laugh if you knew how many revisions of this I made our Amazon team do. Now we just need to push them to build it FOR REAL). pic.twitter.com/NeSscbnZCL

While Kripke makes it clear that the bucket hasn’t been built. He also encourages fans to demand Amazon make one. Given the show’s pension for off-the-wall humor and ravenous fanbase, there is a pretty good chance this may become real one day.

Stay tuned to Nerdbot for all of the latest developments in the popcorn bucket wars!

A new episode of “The Boys” will hit Amazon, fittingly, on July 4th. You can check out a trailer for season 4 below:
