Netflix’s adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s beloved comic “The Sandman” is heading into its second season with several fresh faces among the cast. It will reportedly focus on the fan-favorite storylines “Season of Mists” and “Brief Lives,” from the source material.
“In the next chapter of The Sandman, the King of Dreams will come face-to-face — and go toe-to-toe — with the formidable rulers of Hell, Asgard, Faerie, and the realms beyond,” showrunner Allan Heinberg said.

Jack Gleeson (“Sex Education”) will play Puck, a hobgoblin who serves as the royal jester to King Auberon of Faerie.

The “Brief Lives” storyline has Indya Moore (“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”) playing Wanda, a professional driver and security agent for an exclusive travel firm. Steve Coogan (“Alan Partridge”) will voice canine companion Barnabas, who is both man’s best friend and sharpest critic.
They will be joined by the previously announced Esmé Creed-Miles as Delirium, Adrian Lester as Destiny, and Barry Sloane as “The Prodigal.” The trio are the remaining members of “The Endless,” who play an important role in both storylines.
