With warmer weather on the way, cookout season will soon be upon us. And do you know what one of the biggest party fouls is? That’s right, double-dipping chips. Chili makers Hormel think they may have the perfect solution for this gross faux pas, a perforated chip.

While most people would just manually break their chips in half to avoid being ostracised by their friends and family. These corn chips will have a perforated line that splits it in half more cleanly and evenly. Allowing for generous double dips without the threat of mouth germs. To create this party-saving invention Hormel teamed up with a Minnesota-based specialty foods producer to make “Double Dippable Chips.”

Sadly, Double Dippable Chips aren’t available nationwide just yet. The only way you can score a bag is by winning one of a limited number of Hormel’s “Chili Double Dip Kit.” Which comes with a bag of Double Dippable Chips, a can of Hormel no beans chili, and a recipe for a delicious 7 Layer Chili Cheese Dip.

“When it comes to the food on the party table, dips are a star attraction,” Jason Hron, brand manager for Hormel Chili, said. “Given the idea of double-dipping remains polarizing, we thought it would be fun to create something that could satisfy both sides and keep them both dipping into some delicious Hormel Chili Cheese Dip.”

The giveaway begins on March 18th, and kits will shipped before the tipoff of the NCAA March Madness Tournament. Those interested in entering can sign up for their chance to win a Chili Double Dip Kit here. You can check out a video of this new era of snacking in action below:
