Legendary actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill have been voicing Batman and the Joker for over 30 years. But after the tragic loss of Conroy in 2022, Hamill decided to hang up that perfectly unhinged laugh. Luckily, fans will be able to hear the iconic duo duke it out one last time in “Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3.”

At the beginning of the year, it was confirmed Conroy would be posthumously voicing the Caped Crusader. Now, it appears that Hamill will be coming out of retirement as the Clown Prince of Crime to join him.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3” will not only end Conroy and Hamill’s decades-long partnership, it will also end DC’s current animated universe, the “Tomorrowverse.” The duo have been voicing these comic staples since “Batman: The Animated Series” launched the DC Animated Universe in 1992. It cemented the company’s place in animation after the show’s darker tone stuck a cord with both older and younger viewers.

As you can imagine after working together for over 3 decades, the pair built an incredible rapport. Allowing them to transition the characters from a serious story like “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm,” to more family-friendly tales like “Justice League Action.” This variety solidified Conroy and Hamill as the voices of these characters for many fans.

This bond led to the understandable, choice for Hamill to leave his villainous role after the loss of Conroy. We look forward to hearing what their final send-off will sound like.

The cast for “Part 3” also includes Corey Stoll as Lex Luthor, Brian Bloom as Adam Strange and Sidewinter, Elysia Rotaru as Black Canary, Armen Taylor as Jay Garrick, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams as Dr. Beth Chapel/Cheetah, and Dean Winters as Captain Storm. Along with Jason Spisak as Blue Lantern Razer and Hayseed, Brett Halton as Batlash and Captain Atom, Ashly Burch as Nightshade and Queen Mera, and Katee Sackhoff as Poison Ivy.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 1” was released last month, and “Part 2” is slated for April 23rd. Currently, there is no set release date for “Part 3,” But we will keep you posted on updates as they become available.
