If you’re a fan of Paramount’s “Sonic the Hedgehog” live-action hybrid movies, you’ll probably be excited for the upcoming spinoff series, “Knuckles.” Starring Idris Elba as the red Echidna and Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails, we don’t actually know who’s voicing Sonic. Kinda weird.
Jeff Fowler, who directed the first two “Sonic” films, will helm the series.
The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films “SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2” and “SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3.”
Stream “Knuckles” April 26. It will stream April 27th in all additional Paramount+ territories, and in Japan later in the year.
