Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne is having to dispel myths about his demise after finding a YouTube video saying he is dead. The former Black Sabbath frontman recently stumbled upon an in-memoriam video of celebrities who have died this year, himself included. Ozzy was completely shocked to see his own photo in the video!

“I put it on and I died!,” Ozzy said during an episode of “The Osbournes Podcast.” “The thing on YouTube, which goes, ‘Celebrities Who Have Died Today,’ and there’s a picture of me.” He then went on to reference “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” quipping, “I’m not dead. I’m not really dead … just a little flesh wound.’”
Apparently, it has become a trend among these videos to report that celebrities who are “dead-ish,” have died. In February of this year, he had to cancel several tour dates and announce he was retiring from the road since he “is not physically capable” anymore. But that certainly doesn’t mean he is on death’s doorstep! In the same statement, Ozzy even said he and his team are “currently coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.” Not a commitment that someone on the brink of death would make, now is it?
Ozzy’s son Jack pointed out that dispelling hateful rumors like this is one of the great things about “The Osbournes Podcast.” “What’s been really good about the podcast, I’ve noticed that whenever any of the shit newspapers or whatever write, ‘Oh, Ozzy’s brink of death’ or whatever and they get him papped like walking into a doctor’s appointment if you read the comments, everyone’s like, ‘This is bullshit. You should listen to him on the podcast. He’s fucking fine. These people are fucking liars. Stop writing fake news,’” he explained.
“I’m not dead. I’m not going any-fucking-where and I’m going to go do some more gigs before I’m finished anyway,” Ozzy added.
“The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated,” Mark Twain. You can watch the full episode below:
