    “Hi Barbie!”

Mattel is releasing an official Barbie doll of Award-winning singer and songwriter Mariah Carey. The doll will help ring in the holiday season along with Carey’s popular Christmas tune. Mattel official released the doll November 17th, and it has already sold out online!

This collaboration sees the doll wearing Carey’s dress from the “All I Want for Christmas Is You (Make My Wish Come True Edition)” music video. Granted the doll’s dress does not have as much of a deep V cut as the original dress. The sparkly red dress is complete with red stilettos and sparkling accessories. It even has a certificate of authenticity. We can definitely see why this doll sold out so quickly online, it is truly gorgeous.

Carey herself is elated with the doll as it is a sweet, sweet fantasy come true. “It’s a once in a lifetime dream to have my own Barbie! If I could go back and tell my little girl self that one day, I would have a Barbie made in mu likeness, I think she would flip out!” Carey said. “I hope all collectors and fans everywhere enjoy the holiday season and hopefully the Mariah Barbie will be a wonderful addition to it!”

The Barbie X Mariah Carey Holiday Celebration Doll is selling for $75. While it may be sold out online at the Mattel Shop, it will still be sold at select retailers. The doll was designed by Mattel designer Angel Kent, who took inspiration from Carey’s modern holiday hit. “It’s the best Christmas classic because it’s perfectly constructed, capturing every single element of the season while amplifying its meaning by making it all about love,” Kent said in Mattel’s official announcement.

Be on the lookout for the doll in stores at participating Target and Walmart.
