“Harley Quinn” Renewed For Season 5 on MAX

MAX’s original adult animated series “Harley Quinn” has been renewed for a fifth season! Based on characters from the DC Comics universe, the series follows the exploits of Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) as she builds her identity after her breakup with The Joker (Alan Tudyk). With help from her girlfriend Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) and a crew of DC castoffs, Harley attempts to work her way into the Legion of Doom. That is before an identity crisis spirals her onto a larger quest to find her true place in Gotham City.

The cast also features Christopher Meloni, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, and Tony Hale. Series writer Sarah Peters will also be working as a consulting producer and will be taking over as showrunner from Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker in season four. As outlandish and unpredictable as the series can be, it sounds like we are in for even more twists and turns in season 5.

“Harley Quinn has raised the comedic crowbar with every new season,” Executive Vice President of Warner Bros. Animation Peter Girardi said. “We’re excited to continue this partnership with Max and take our biggest swing yet for season 5.”

“Harley Quinn” is produced by Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions, Lorey Stories, and Yes, Norman Productions in association with Warner Bros. Animation. It was developed by Halpern, Schumacker, and Dean Lorey, with Lorey also working as a Showrunner. Executive Producers include Lorey, Halpern, Schumacker, Cuoco, Sam Register, and Katie Rich. Chrissy Romero is a co-executive producer, with Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton and Ian Hamilton as supervising producers.

We’ll keep you posted on updates about season 5 of “Harley Quinn” as they become available. You can watch all 4 seasons of the series streaming exclusively on Max. Check out the trailer for season 4 below:
