Chipotle is Bringing Back the Boorito for Halloween

It’s the time of year when even restaurant chains get into the spooky season spirit, and Chipotle is no exception. The company just announced the return of its annual Boorito, with a national $6 digital entrée offer. The promotion will run from 3 PM until closing on October 31 for Chipotle Rewards members.

And, in an even bigger announcement, for the first time, Chipotle is extending its operating hours until midnight in select college towns on Halloween! Giving fans in these areas even more time to enjoy the Boorito offer.

The extended hours are in response to Gen Z’s buying habits and late-night dining preferences. Over the past two years, Chipotle has seen a 30% increase in sales after 8 PM on Halloween. This compounded with 81% of 18 to 26-year-olds surveyed wanting Chipotle open until midnight. Testing later hours coupled wth the Boorito became a no-brainer.

So, on Halloween, 53 of the chain’s restaurants in popular college towns will remain open until midnight to feed some late-night cravings. The participating locations were selected from the college towns that eat the most Chipotle. The number is also a reference to the 53 real ingredients on the restaurant’s permanent menu.

If all that wasn’t enough, the first 100 digital orders placed between 10 PM and midnight at each of the 53 locations will receive an exclusive bottle of TABASCO® Brand Scorpion Sauce. Which is the brand’s spookiest hot sauce made with one of the world’s most intense peppers, the Scorpion. This Scorpion Sauce is making its debut at Chipotle for one night, only on the most frightening night of the year. (You can find the terms and conditions for this offer here. )

You can also see if your local Chipotle is participating here. We hope all our readers stay safe, and well-fed, this Halloween season.
