While we haven’t even wrapped up October yet, but Disney+ is already champing at the bit to get to Christmas. A new trailer for “The Santa Clauses” season 2 has arrived. Tim Allen returns as Santa aka Scott Calvin, alongside a loving and supportive Mrs. Claus aka Carol Calvin, Elizabeth Mitchell.

This season jolly ol saint Nick intends to turn the North Pole into the family business. Buddy “Cal” Calvin-Claus (Austin Kane) is prepping to eventually become Santa with the help of a training program. And youngest Sandra Calvin-Claus (Elizabeth Allen-Dick) pitches in to take care of the reindeer.

Everything seems to be going well as the family preps for Christmas, that is until another Santa Claus starts to cause trouble. Magnus Antas or The Mad Santa (Eric Stonestreet) becomes convinced that Scott Calvin’s version of Santa Claus is a fraud. So he seeks to reclaim the role from the family.

Luckily Santa has some backup from other holiday icons, including the Easter Bunny (Tracy Morgan, replacing Jay Thomas) and Cupid (Kevin Pollak). Gabriel Iglesias will confusingly play Kris Kringle, who we see hanging around with the Mad Santa. Laura San Giacomo will play La Befana, the Christmas Witch with Marta Kessler playing Mad Santa’s sidekick, Olga. The cast also includes Devin Bright as Noel, Liam Kyle as Gary, Isabella Bennett as Edie, Sasha Knight as Crouton, Ruby Jay as Riley, and Mia Lynn Bangunan as Pontoon.

Jack Burditt will serve as the executive producer and showrunner for the Disney + original series. Along with “Last Man Standing” executive producers Kevin Hench, Richard Baker, and Rick Messina. As well as Jason Winer and Jon Radler for Small Dog Picture Company.

“The Santa Clauses” season 2 premieres exclusively on Disney+ on November 8, 2023. You can check out the trailer below:
