SYFY released a new teaser for “Chucky” season 3, and the killer doll has his sights set on the White House. We have no idea what Chucky plans to do in the most powerful place in the US. Our bet is a heaping pile of murder on a nationwide scale. This season appears to be mired in thrilling suspense as Brad Dourif continues to voice the titular character.

The teaser opens with the President’s son asking him to take the doll with him to the Oval Office. There’s a lot of unsettling staring between the man and the doll as the murderer plays possum. As predictable as ever, the plastic menace disappears, along with a letter opener. Later he is found by a secretary and the most dramatic eye shift occurs, just before he kills her. Why she didn’t just drop him the second his eyes changed, we will never know.

Dourif will be joined again by the main cast: Zackary Arthur, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Björgvin Arnarson, and franchise favorite Jennifer Tilly. While the cast is set to return, the trailer gives no hints as to what their roles will entail this season. Many are speculating that Chucky will attempt to switch his soul into the President’s body. This could enable him to enact some type of plan that will effect the rest of the cast in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Someone get the popcorn ready because we are here for the possible epic showdown in the White House.

“Chucky” season 3 is set to air on October 4th, 2023 on SYFY. The first two seasons are available to stream on Peacock. Check out the teaser trailer down below.
