AMC has just released two new posters and a short teaser for the highly anticipated “The Walking Dead” spinoff, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.” The upcoming series follows fan -favorite character Daryl Dixon’s (Norman Reedus) as he journeys across a broken but resilient France. All with the hope of finding his way back home. But as he makes the journey, the connections he forms complicate his ultimate plan.

David Zabel serves as showrunner and executive producer for the upcoming series. Reedus, Scott M. Gimple,Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath, and Daniel Percival will also be executive producing .

This project was originally announced as a series focusing on Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), another fan-favorite character. But shooting extensively in Europe made McBride being a central character logistically impossible. Though it has been confirmed by their “The Walking Dead” co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan that Carol will be on the show in some capacity, we just don’t know to what degree yet.
“The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” will debut on AMC and AMC+ on September 10, 2023. We’ll keep you posted on updates as they become available. In the meantime, you can check out the teaser below:
