The Doggfather himself Snoop Dogg is breaking into the ice cream game with his new product Dr. Bombay Ice Cream. Dogg credits his mentor Master P and bestie Martha Stewart for his inspiration to start the new venture. The idea for this frozen dessert came from Dr. Bombay, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT avatar owned by Dogg. Also a serious case of the munchies. The ice cream venture is the latest in Dogg’s multiple food-related business moves, like wine and cereal.

Snoop Dogg has partnered with Happi Co. to create the whimsical flavors of Dr. Bombay. The flavors include titles like Syrupy Waffle Sundaze, Tropical Sherbert Swizzle, and Rollin’ In The Dough. Dogg says that all the flavors are some of his favorite sweets. Dogg will also have a cookbook with Oakland rapper, E-40, that will be on shelves in time for Thanksgiving.
Snoop had a lot of praise for P and Stewart as successful entrepreneurs. He equates everything he’s learned from P to a college education. Whereas everything he’s learned from Stewart is akin to real world experience. The comparison really puts the whole situation into perspective for the average person. Stewart and Dogg’s friendship is one of the greatest things to happen in modern history. We might not have Dogg’s cookbook without Stewart’s influence, or the extended “candle lighter.”
Dr. Bombay Ice Cream can be purchased at Walmart stores across the nation. Personally I’m going to get some to try for myself, that waffle one sounds amazing. Snoop recently cancelled his “Doggystyle” anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl in solidarity with the WGA, who are entering their 86th day on strike.
