3 Fantasyland Favorites at Disneyland Closed for Summer

Disneyland has closed three Fantasyland favorites all at one time. This isn’t that big of a deal though, as several attractions needed refurbishment. While there’s plenty of park left to visit without those three open, they’re some of the most popular due to long, but quick-moving lines.

Peter Pan’s Flight, Alice in Wonderland, and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride are all getting some much needed TLC.

Being Fantasyland’s favorite rides means they see a LOT of use over the course of a year. But all three of them are as old as the park itself. Mr. Toad’s and Peter Pan’s Flight were there when the park opened in 1955. With Alice in Wonderland following only three years later in ’58.

But before you start thinking your summer vacation plans are ruined, don’t worry. Disneyland already has dates for re-openings. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride will be close from June 5th to the 29th. Peter Pan’s Flight will be closed from June 5th to the 15th. And Alice in Wonderland seems to be needing the most attention. It will be closed from June 5th to the 15th, but then will close again from July 5th to a TBA date.

Any fans of “The Little Mermaid” might also want to hold off on heading in to California Adventure, too. Ariel’s Undersea Adventure is also down for refurbishment. Unfortunate given that Disney just premiered their live-action remake of the film. No information on when that will reopen. But Disneyland encourages park-goers to check their website for any future announcements.
