More Proof Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson are Brothers!

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have always been good friends. They’ve gotten along well, and their on-screen chemistry always seems so natural and easy. Apparently, there might actually be a reason for that. There’s some distinct possibility that the two actors might actually be biologically related. Harrelson is incredibly curious about whether he and McConaughey might actually be brothers.

McConaughey was the first to become aware of this supposed revelation. One that occurred during a time where there was some marital turmoil between his mother and father. “Ma Mac”, as Harrelson calls McConaughey’s biological Mom, was taking some time separated from her husband. Interestingly, meeting places, receipts, and stories from West Texas line up with where Harrelson’s father happened to be as well.

On “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Harrelson told a story about being in Greece with McConaughey and his family. Apparently, a conversation between Harrelson and Ma Mac blazed innuendo with a neon sign. “I mentioned something about regrets. And I said, ‘You know, it’s odd that my father has no regrets.’..I have known Ma’ Mac a long time, and she goes, ‘I knew… your father.’ And it was the ellipses I found a little troubling, or interesting. ‘I knew your father.’”

Harrelson is keen to learn whether he has a little brother. But McConaughey is a little more nervous. “We want to go for a [DNA] test, but for him, it’s a much more big deal…I mean he feels like he is losing a father. But I’m like, no, you’re gaining a different father and a brother,” says Harrelson.
