Paramount+ and CBS Studios have announced “Star Trek: Picard” is getting a special send-off for its final episodes. On April 19th, fans will have the chance to see the final two episodes of the series in IMAX, for free!

Ten participating theaters in the U.S. will be holding this event the day BEFORE the episodes air on Paramount+.

All fans have to do is sign up and register here on April 12th, at 10am (PST) 1pm (EST). The ten participating theaters are in Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Orlando, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Dallas.

UPDATE– Paramount has acknowledged the issues fans are having trying to get tickets.

We apologize for the technical difficulties users have been experiencing while trying to register for the Star Trek: Picard finale screenings. We are troubleshooting the issue and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

If all that wasn’t enough, they’ll be doing a special final season poster giveaway. Plus complimentary concessions for everyone in attendance. The audience will also be able to participate in a live Q&A following the screening. Guests for the Q&A include “Star Trek” stars Sir Patrick Stewart, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Brent Spiner, and Jeri Ryan. Along with executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Terry Matalas. The panel will be held at the Los Angeles screening, and will be broadcast to the other nine theaters.

This all seems like a fitting send-off for Captain Jean Luc Picard, who Stewart famously portrayed for seven seasons of “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” and 4 films. A role he then reprised for three seasons of “Star Trek: Picard,” a show centered around one of the most beloved captains of the Starship Enterprise.

“Star Trek: Picard” is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment. Kurtzman, Matalas, Stewart, Akiva Goldsman, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokosk, and Dylan Massin are all serving as executive producers for the show’s final season. Matalas is also working as the showrunner for this season.
