“Game of Thrones” Offshoots “Dunk & Egg,” “Hedge Knight” Ordered

as Warner Bros. Discovery unveiled their new joint streaming service name- MAX- additional projects were announced. There were also some not-surprising-surprises, like the confirmation two previously announced “Game of Thrones” spinoff series were getting greenlit.

“Dunk & Egg,” and “Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: A Hedge Knight” have both been ordered to series.

Author George R.R. Martin will serve on both as a series writer and executive producer.

“Dunk & Egg:” “A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.”

We’re still waiting for a possible production start date for the Jon Snow series starring Kit Harrington, “SNOW.”
