Alternative rock bands Foo Fighters and Green Day will headline the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival celebrating the brand’s 120th anniversary. The event will be held July 13th-16th at Veterans Park in Milwaukee, home of the legendary motorcycle brand. Other acts for the festival include Cody Jinks, Social Distortion, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Phantogram, White Reaper, and Kenny Hoopla. So far it sounds like a good mix of classic and modern artists.

Additional programming will also take place at the Harley-Davidson Museum, but at this time there are no specifics on what that will be. And if all that wasn’t enough, the company will also be doing special cross-country routes. Encouraging customers to bring their own bikes if they wish to do so. Their website lists several preplanned routes from all over the country, with stops at Harley-Davidson dealerships along the way. This will allow attendees to mingle with other riders, chat with local staff, get their bikes checked, and fuel up at local food trucks. Riders that would like to take part in these routes are encouraged to reach out to their local dealer for more information.

This is Green Day’s 1st announced show of 2023. Their landmark album “Nimrod” will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary on January 25th. Foo Fighters have now confirmed this will be part of a 5 show return to touring, following the tragic death of long-time drummer Taylor Hawkins in March of 2022. The band’s new drummer is still unconfirmed, but we’re sure will do Hawkins proud.
“Expect four days and nights packed with fun and exciting activities and entertainment for enthusiasts of all ages,” reads a message on the Harley-Davidson website. “There won’t be anytime for downtime at this party.” Tickets are currently on sale now.
