Famke Janssen (“X-Men”) and Rose Williams (“Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris”) are set to star in Netflix’s new psychological thriller, “Locked In.” Other confirmed cast members include Alex Hassell (“Violent Night”), Finn Cole (“Animal Kingdom”), and Anna Friel (“Monarch”).

“Locked In” is currently in production in London and the United Kingdom. The film revolves around Lina (Williams), an unhappy newlywed, and her brittle, damaged mother-in-law, Katherine (Janssen). An affair sets Lina on a journey of secrecy, betrayal, and murder. All while there is seemingly a plot to destroy her. But who is the real victim, and who can she truly trust?

This will be the first feature directed by Nour Wazzi (“The Last Bus”). With a script by Rowan Joffé (“28 Weeks Later”). Nicky Bentham will act as a producer for Neon Films, along with Alison Jackson, executive producing for Gaumont.

With “Locked In” so early into shooting there is currently no set release date. But we’ll keep you updated with new developments as they happen.
