Miller Lite Introduces New Holiday Tradition: Tree Keg Stand

Miller Lite is looking to set the record for the world’s longest keg stand with their new holiday offering- a branded Christmas tree Keg Stand. Never one to shy away from unique marketing, Miller has had its sights set on the holiday staple since it introduced Beernaments last year.

Beernaments are rounded beer mugs that are made to resemble Christmas ornaments. Once you are done drinking out of the oversized decoration, you can simply hang it up on your tree. They are sold in packs of 6, and last year could only support 8 OZ cans. But this year they have upgraded to 12 OZ cans! (Please drink responsibly, and only if you’re 21 and over.)

Miller Lite wants you to complete the look with a Holiday Tree Keg Stand. It is a fully-functioning tree stand designed to wrap perfectly around a quarter-barrel keg of Miller Lite (sold separately). These kegs hold roughly 83 12 oz beers, and are available at most liquor stores.

This limited-edition stand is compatible with up to a 5-foot 150lb tree. The stand will be available for purchase in limited quantities on November 10th at 9am (CST), while supplies last. You can order yours here.

“This season there’s truly no better gift to leave under a beer lover’s tree than the tree stand itself!” Sofia Colucci, Global VP of Miller family of brands, said. “Last year, we decorated the tree with Beernaments and this year, we’re literally putting the gift of Miller Time right under the tree with the Christmas Tree Keg Stand.”

Miller has also updated its seasonal line of branded knitwear. The line includes socks, mittens, a sweater, and a hat.
