Amongst the anime nerds of the world, there’s a large number that will tell you Goku is their “Dragon Ball Z” favorite. A close second is Vegeta. But they may want to rethink their positions. No character in DBZ travels in more comfort and lifts as few fingers to get things done as Frieza. You can’t argue with that cushy pod, which is why Premium Bandai is releasing a plush replica. Now you, too, can feel like a planet-destroying villain and read manga in cozy comfort.

Dragon Ball Z: Frieza Pod Cushion by Premium Bandai!

    Price: 29,700 yen ($201.4)
    Delivery starts: February 2023 pic.twitter.com/bNQp8J4FgZ

Premium Bandai is your one stop shop for high quality anime merchandise. A step above your usual anime stores, PB sells apparel and jewelry as well. And, in this case, furniture. At roughly $200+ — you’ll notice the price doesn’t factor in shipping — the pod cushion costs a pretty penny. Much like the alien emperor, you’ll need to have some deep pockets to justify this purchase. Or maybe get the Ginyu Force to buy it for you.

The pod not available or even listed yet. Customers will have to act fast, as Premium Bandai runs notoriously on FOMO and their pre-orders come and go quickly. So it might behoove fans to join PB’s newsletter so they don’t miss out. Once the exclusive merchandise is gone, it’s gone. Premium Bandai is the height of collectibles in that exclusive items are one-of-a-kind once they’ve sold out.

Joining the mailing list costs nothing and registration is free. Sign up here! If you’re dying to make your enjoyment of anime and manga that much comfier in the style of Frieza’s floating throne, keep your ears to the ground. Just don’t tell the Saiyans.
