Jack in the Box has a Basic Witch Pumpkin Spice Shake!

The air is chill, the leaves are changing, and everything tastes like either apple cider or pumpkin spice. Just in time for the Halloween season fast food chain Jack in the Box has submitted its entry into the endless fall flavor void. This will be their first-ever pumpkin spice offering and it comes in the form of an Oreo cookie shake.

This new drink has been christened the Basic Witch Shake. It is a blend of creamy vanilla soft serve, Oreo cookie pieces, and pumpkin spice flavoring. Plus it comes topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry, for the full basic experience.

“Our dearest basic witches, it’s your time to shine. Romanticize your life by walking around the fall-est looking park you can find, playing that 10 min long song that will get you in your autumn feels, wearing your favorite fluffy socks as you put on some red lipstick, and plan your next rewatch of your comfort show,” a representative for Jack in the Box said to Thrillist. “Bonus points if it’s 11:11 and you get to make a wish. Extra bonus points if that wish is a Jack in the Box Basic Witch Shake.” If that isn’t leaning into mocking people who love pumpkin spice while also profiting off of them, we don’t know what is. We may need to consider if fast food advertising has become too meta.

The Basic Witch Shake will only be available at Jack in the Box locations until November 20. A regular-sized drink will run you $4 and a large goes for $5.19.
