New remote job opportunities allow you to be time-efficient with your working and personal life. You get to enjoy your life and experience unique cultures. When considering the comfort of your working environment, many aspects come into play along with your cybersecurity. And things may get confusing.

    Here are the best 5 remote working locations according to the global remote working index: Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, and the Netherlands. 

    Denmark

    Denmark has one of the fastest internet speeds and provides secure connections. Although currently, it doesn’t have remote working visas, you can extend your visa up to 90 days. Additionally, there are lots of flights available. It is a great city to visit various attractions and do social activities. Developed healthcare and welfare services increase the living quality of the citizens.

    It’s also one of the safest countries and has strong socioeconomics and stable politics. The high average salaries greatly compensate for the relatively higher cost of living. Many job opportunities are available for English speakers, and jobs have high satisfaction rates thanks to their work culture. 

    Germany

    Germany is a country that has various job opportunities and allows remote work visas. It has high internet speeds and cybersecurity. Germany has citizens with high English proficiency, so it is easier to find jobs there, although it is a little bit competitive. Remote working visas enable employees to stay in Germany for up to 3 years. 

    With a rich culture, Germany has many attractions to visit. Since there are many places for social life, your life never gets boring. It also maintains one of the least working hours per week in Europe while allowing great work and life balance. Healthcare and welfare services are great. Crime rates are low. It is a country that has high vaccination rates. The cost of living is a bit higher, yet again salaries are high. 

    Lithuania

    Lithuania has one of the cheapest local prices in Europe. So, the cost of living is relatively cheaper. It has low crime rates, stable politics, and good socioeconomics. It is a safe country regarding COVID and healthcare. Lithuania also has moderately high internet speeds while providing comfort and security for the workspace. 

    Many co-working spaces are available for those working remotely. It permits remote work visas. Additionally, Lithuania has lots of amazing sceneries and green spaces. Although there are fewer places to go out, it is still a great place to work while traveling.  

    Spain

    Spain is rich in history and culture where you can meet new people and visit unique places. With a high English proficiency level, it is easier to communicate and land a job. There are many clubs and bars, theaters, cinemas, museums, galleries, and such. 

    It is a warmer country where you can enjoy the sun’s heat.

    Netherlands

    The Netherlands is one of the most expensive countries in Europe. Both traveling and local prices are high. Although the cost of living is high, it has strong economic and political status. There are many places for social activities. The country allows great work-life balance. 

    It has one of the highest internet speeds and the best cybersecurity. It does not have a remote working visa, but a company sponsor is required to work in the Netherlands. Additionally, the Netherlands invests in entrepreneurs and encourages them with its freelance and self-employment visas.

    Nowadays, working anywhere and anytime is possible with loosened COVID regulations. According to your own needs and desires, the only thing you need to do is decide where you would like to go. These locations may provide options for your next destination.
