One of the standout surprises during Netflix’s Geeked Week Day 1 was “1899.” It looks like an eerie display of psychologically riveting optics and storyline. This show is something to get excited about if you love the mysterious and supernatural.

Netflix describes the series as “a visually stunning odyssey where nothing is as it seems. The makers of the internationally acclaimed series ‘Dark,’ take us to the year ‘1899’ aboard the Kerberos. What is lost will be found.”

    Netflix

We meet Maura Franklin, who’s aboard the ship, Kerberos. Many of the passengers are strangely in sync, and seem to be running from something. There are mysteries on board the ship and it appears to be receiving strange ciphers.

“1899″ stars Aneurin Barnard, Emily Beecham, Anton Lesser and many more. The series was created by Baron bo Odar and Jantje Friese.

We didn’t get an official release date yet, but we’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
