Maybe the original “Robocop” doesn’t make you think of holiday gifts, but. Maybe he does? Chances are you know someone who enjoys the 1987 Paul Verhoeven film enough to appreciate a figure, right?

Starring Peter Weller as the aforementioned half man-half machine-all cop, this new figure captures much of that character. With the familiar sneer, he’s ready to protect and serve your desk or shelf.

    Entertainment Earth

For the 35th anniversary of the cult classic movie RoboCop in 2022, the crime fighter from future Detroit gets the Ultimate treatment from NECA! Battle criminals and rogue enforcement droids alike with an array of accessories: interchangeable data spike fist, Auto-9 pistol that fits into a hidden spring-loaded leg holster, Cobra Assault Cannon, attachable muzzle blast effect, and an additional interchangeable head with the likeness of Peter Weller. This RoboCop Ultimate RoboCop 7-Inch Scale Action Figure features upgraded deco and digital printing. Comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with opening flap.

Also, if you haven’t watched “The Movies That Made Us” episode about “Robocop” yet, we highly suggest it. It’s available to stream on Netflix.

The 7-inch figure is by NECA, and you can pre-order him at Entertainment Earth now. He’s expected to start shipping in May of 2022.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
