Robot Bloopers from Boston Dynamics Makes Them Even More Human

Boston Dynamics shared a video of their famous robots taking tumbles and falling during drills. For me this makes them even more lovable and human. Much less creepy than them being perfect from the get-go. Some of those synchronized videos of them where they dance to music come off as eerie and Skynet-esque. But now we can see them in a different light.

At Boston Dynamics, crashes are part of the process. Discover what we do when robots break and learn how we take the opportunity to rebuild more robust robots. https://t.co/znVJAYgwA5 pic.twitter.com/bvauH1kV7x

Boston Dynamics is not making robots for any military purpose but are instead trying to change the way we think about robots. They are designing and testing robots with greater mobility and eventually will offer a range of purposes that we could use them. I just want a cute “Chobits” I can have around the house to do the cleaning. If they ever offer that in the future, sign me up!
