New Flavor of Dr Pepper Only Attainable with Pepper Points

As if Dr Pepper couldn’t get any better, they’ve announced a new flavor called FANtastic Chocolate (emphasis on the FAN, apparently). Everyone is going to want to try it at least once. This flavor will be so elusive, there’s only one way to get it, and it won’t be on retail shelves. So what’s the catch?

To get this new flavor, you’ll have to earn enough points using the Pepper Points app. The company says that once these are gone, they’re gone for good. So if you’re a Dr Pepper fanatic, you’ll have to hurry up and figure out the app asap.

The Pepper Perks engagement hub is a web app, not a stand-alone mobile app. It’s fully responsive and works cleanly across devices from mobile to tablet to desktop. This makes the platform easier for consumers to engage with whenever and wherever they are, by removing the barrier and need to download an app.

To sign up for Pepper Perks, visit https://my.drpepper.com/s/. Sign-up can be completed via Google or Facebook, or users can create an account with an email address.

Calling All Super Fans: Dr Pepper Reveals FANtastic Chocolate

To access the limited time offering, consumers must scan the proof of purchase QR code on Dr Pepper purchases where they’ll be prompted to create a “Pepper Perks” account. Once fans earn a qualifying amount of points, they can redeem their purchase to receive the exclusive new flavor as long as it is available. Fans can also enter for a chance to win a trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship and redeem other Dr Pepper branded gear designed to enhance game day and cheer on our favorite college teams.

They also say that you can earn other things than the chocolate soda. Like branded gear from College Football teams, but who wants that? I want the chocolate soda!

Visit the official Dr Pepper website to learn more about the Pepper Perks program.
