We are so very sorry to report the passing of a 50-year veteran of television, Una Stubbs, has passed away. Perhaps best known in recent years for her portrayal of Mrs. Hudson alongside Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch on BBC’s “Sherlock,” Stubbs was no stranger to British television.
With notable credits including “Call The Midwife,” “Worzel Gummidge,” and “The Worst Witch,” Stubbs was well-known and respected in her field.
According to BBC, Stubbs’ agent said she had been ill for a few months, and died at her home in Edinburgh surrounded by her family.
She was 84.
