12 Foot Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton From Home Depot Sold Out Already

Though it may feel a bit early to start thinking about decorating for Halloween I’d like to offer that it’s never the case. Halloween is a state of mind and if you’re a spooky-at-heart kind of person then we’d get along great. The Home Depot had a 12 foot skeleton last year. This year, they’re bringing the old bag of bones back. Even more excitingly they’ve given them a friend in the form of another giant 12 foot monster. This time with a spooky pumpkin head and roots that make it look like it will chase after you. They’re calling it the “Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton” model.

Designed by Lance Allen (who loves Halloween), Home Depot is very excited about this new addition to the Rotten Patch. Allen had this to say about the release:

“This year’s 12-Foot Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton is the king of our Rotten Patch collection, influenced by Midwest farms with a haunted twist. What’s great about the screens is that we can fully program whatever image or scene we want on them. That’s what gives Skelly his realistic blue eyes.”

There’s always room in our hearts for more Halloween decorations. This year I’m happy to say that I have a front yard to put up an awesome display. Not sure if I’m going to splurge on these skeletons seeing as they cost a minimum of $299. Is it worth it? Absolutely! But maybe something I have to invest in later.

The Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton variant is going to cost $349 and have a few upgrades from the original. Both versions will now have a plug that will allow people to keep them running for longer amounts of time. Both versions will also feature LCD “LifeEyes” which will make the faint of heart want to run for the hills. I like it when only the brave kids make it to my candy, this could help weed out the easily scared.

    Annnnd they’re gone.

If you’re looking to get your own 12 foot skeleton you’re going to want to act fast though. The Home Depot will start selling these on their website on Friday, July 16th. If last year was any indication as to how fast they will sell out then you will want to act fast.
