The Pokémon Pokécenter has announced a life-sized Slowpoke plush that any collector would be hard pressed to pass up. Here’s the catch though, trainers- this plushie costs a whopping $450. So I suppose we can rationalize it as you’re really getting a super fancy bean bag chair or a luxury pillow. Otherwise, it’s just a great photo prop and that’s fine too.
If you want it to live on your bed and you have a twin or a full size (double) it’s going to take up most of the space. Those mattresses top out at 6ft 3 inches long, and this Pokédex-accurate Slowpoke is huge at almost 5 feet from tail to snout.
We may never know what Slowpoke is thinking—or if it’s even thinking at all—but its willingness to happily laze the day away is worthy of admiration. With this jumbo Slowpoke plush by your side at home, school, or work, you’ll always have a reminder of the importance of taking it a little slow from time to time.
