Premium Bandai has just released Digimon Vital Bracelets for pre-order that will let you raise your digital pet. The pet will thrive based on things like your heart rate and other measurable numbers.
Your activity equals your Digimon’s lifestyle. The heartbeat and number of steps taken affect your Digimon’s state and lifestyle.
You can battle enemy Digimons by touching smartphones and NFC enabled devices around the area.
You can also manage your Digimon in the app that comes with it. Record your Digimon’s daily activities, add new missions and gain items. You are also able to battle users online.
By inserting an optional dim card, you can change the Digimon. (Everything other than the one that comes with this product is sold separately.)
If you wanted a little extra boost of motivation this is it! I remember when the Pokémon Pikachu came out and it was basically a step counter. This is way more advanced and looks like a lot of fun!
