If you’ve been keeping up with the current anime season then you’ve probably stumbled on Jujutsu Kaisen. A supernatural thriller with sorcerers and demons. Well if you’re invested in the story so far then you may be interested to know that VIZ Media will be releasing Shonen Jump’s “Jujutsu Kaisen 0.” A story that takes place one year before Yūji Itadori Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High.
The prequel of Shonen Jump’s Supernatural Success will focus on Yuta Okkotsu.
“Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem – his childhood friend Rika has turned into a curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the curse that haunts him?”
This is one manga that I’m going to recommend since it’s unlikely we will be getting an anime adaptation of the prequel. If you want to know about events that happened before Sakuna was absorbed into Yūji Itadori’s body then you’re going to want to pick this up.
