Last night was one of the biggest nights of the year for gamers. The 2020 Game Awards aired live from three locations: London, Tokyo and Los Angeles. Each location was in-studio and audience-less. We’ve never seen a Game Awards quite like it before. There were many powerhouse games competing for best of the best last night. Unsurprisingly, Naughty Dog’s “The Last of Us Part 2” cleaned house with six big wins. Titles such as “Hades” and “Final Fantasy VII Remake” also saw impressive wins.
Additionally, we saw musical performances from Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. A slew of stars also made their appearance throughout the event. We saw Tom Holland, Troy Baker, Brie Larson, Gal Gadot, Nolan North, Keanu Reeves, JackSepticEye and more. Of course, the Game Awards also had plenty of surprises for its viewers. We saw a teaser for the next “Dragon Age,” a look at the new “Among Us” map and Sephiroth’s big entrance in “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.”
