Josh Gad Hosts Virtual “Goonies” Reunion For Charity

Something that has been wished for a long time is a true Goonies reunion. Usually you can find one or two of them at a convention. They almost always talk about doing a sequel or a reboot and they would all be ready for it. They would of course play themselves grown up. But until we can get that, Josh Gad has fixed it so we at least have this to get by. He hosted a meeting between the Goonies that brought back all the feelings of nostalgia and love for the characters we had before. Take a look down below.

Josh Gad goes on a modern day treasure hunt to reunite the cast of the iconic 1985 movie The Goonies! Join them, and some very special guests, as they go down memory lane and bring their characters back to life, all in the name of charity, on Episode One of “Reunited Apart.”

Josh Gad has started this series in hopes that people will donate to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. The Center for Disaster Philanthropy is actively helping people fight COVID-19 and is a great program to donate to for anyone who wants to help. One of their other projects in the past is The Midwest Early Recovery Fund which is meant to help after low attention disasters happen in the Midwest. Unfortunately low attention disasters in the Midwest happen all the time and they have created a program that will help families and those effected get back on their feet. They are also responsible for many other projects all aiming to protect people who need help.

So if you enjoyed this Goonies Reunion and would like to help out you may want to consider donating. Hopefully Josh Gad will continue to orchestrate these kinds of reunions for us fans.
