Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are now staying in a rented home in Queensland while they wait out the remainder of their isolation period. There is no word on if they will only be quarantining themselves for that time or if they will be staying there for an extended period of time. Coronavirus patients who have recovered have tested positive for it again just shortly after being cleared from it. And it may be safer to stay under extended lock down then to return to work.
People confirmed, “Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have left a Queensland hospital and are now resting at a rented home in Australia five days after revealing they had both tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19)… The pair remain under quarantine in their house, Hanks’ representative says.”
Now that we know that they have it and it was brought in by a member of the crew on their Elvis biopic film, it may also be a case of when they will allow work to begin again. Many films have postponed production as well as temporarily shut down. So they may get a little vacation together. Or rather a staycation since they won’t obviously be going anywhere.
