Is this one of those cases of “a face only a mother could love”? Of course not because all puppies are cute! Owners, Somjai Phummaman, 45, and his wife Amphan, 49 of Thailand, posted footage of the puppy online. It has gotten quite famous as there aren’t many animals that are born like this. There has been a goat in India with one eye that is currently being worshiped. But usually animals like these don’t make it out of the womb alive.

The puppy is being welcomed as a sign of good luck and they are keeping it despite all of the people inquiring to buy the puppy for themselves. The pup was born with not only a single eye but an odd skin placed in the middle of his forehead and large lips. They are calling the puppy David and are hoping that he grows up to have a healthy and happy life. According to the parents it will be another couple of weeks before they know if the eye is functional.
