It is with a heavy heart that I must write that Celine Dion’s mother Therese, also known as Maman Dion has sadly passed away. She lived a long fulfilling life up to the age of 92 and was the mother of 14 children. The youngest of which was Celine Dion.
Therese had her own cooking show on which Celine was a regular guest. Last year in May, Celine wrote a very touching tribute to her mother on Instagram quoting Now more than ever, I realize the importance of a mother’s role. Not only did you give me life, but you also wrote my destiny. I love you Mom.
Many of you may not know this but Therese co-wrote Celine’s first single launching a career that would change both of their lives forever.
