Stan Kirsch who was known for playing Richie Ryan on the original Highlander Television series was found dead in his home. His wife Kristyn Green found the actor hanging in the bathroom Saturday afternoon. Law enforcement and paramedics were called but he was announced dead at the scene.
Stan appeared in shows like JAG, General Hospital and Friends as well as having starred in 6 seasons of Highlander.
He ran a famous acting studio in Hollywood and they released a message to their students saying that classes would resume in two weeks. Taking time off to grieve.
Stan studied at Duke University and was the Owner/President at Stan Kirsch Studios. He will be missed.
