If you have been watching Netflix’s “The Toys That Made Us” then you know how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came to be. Creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird started drawing pictures to make each other laugh and the rest is history. They then started on a very successful career of making TMNT into one of the hottest franchises for kids ever. It was the pressure of the success that eventually lead to a falling out between the two.
This new project will be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. They’re joined by writer Tom Waltz and artist Andy Kuhn. Published by IDW Publishing, The Last Ronin will debut in the summer of 2020. This will be their first full collaboration in 25 years.

The ad for the new comic appeared in issue #100 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but there are not many details available as to what the plot will be. All we got was a black page, some fancy font and the credits as to who will be working on it. But that doesn’t make us any less excited.
