    ‘Persona 5 Royal’ Gets North American Release Date

    Brace yourselves because the Phantom Thieves are on their way to steal your hearts! Persona 5 Royal now has an official North American release date! On December 3, Atlus announced that the title will be hitting PS4 on March 31, 2020. You can view the release date announcement trailer below.

    In addition to the release date, Atlus also revealed the various editions of the game that will be available for pre-order.

    The Phantom Thieves Edition sure looks beautiful!
    1. Persona 5 Royal Steelbook Launch Edition- This edition includes the game, a limited edition steelbook case and a dynamic PS4 theme. ($59.99)
    2. Persona 5 Royal Deluxe Edition- This digital edition includes the game, a dynamic PS4 theme and the “Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle.” The costume bundle contains four cosmetic items for Kasumi. ($69.99)
    3. Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Edition- This edition includes the game, an official Joker mask with stand, an art book, a steelbook case, the soundtrack, a collector’s box and a dynamic PS4 theme. ($89.99)
    4. Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition- This digital edition includes the game, a dynamic PS4 theme and the “Persona 5 Royal DLC Pack.” The Royal DLC Pack includes the “Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle”, the “Persona 5 Royal Battle Bundle” and “The Persona 5 Royal Persona Bundle.” ($99.99)

    Of course, a standard edition will be available to those who only want the game. DLC content will be available to purchase individually, or as one DLC pack for $59.99. Persona 5 Royal promises fans of the original title a deeper dive into the world of the Phantom Thieves. It will include new persona, new combo attacks, new cutscenes, alternate endings, a brand new story arc, the ability to customize your own Thieves Den, and a new main character named Kasumi. Additionally, some new boss fights promise the return of the main protagonists from Persona 3 and Persona 4.

    So brush up on your stealth skills, craft some lock picks and get ready to perform the heist of the century! Persona 5 Royal is available for pre-order now.
