If you remember the iconic I Love Lucy with Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball then you probably remember the best comedy skits around. There are so many wonderful episodes that stand out even today. Even though the time is set in the past and we get to see how husband and wife dynamics worked, Lucille Ball’s performance will never grow old. Now Will & Grace are going to pay tribute to the classic series and have created an episode that will air as a special.
In one of the final episodes of this last season they will go through some dream sequences. One where Messing plays Lucy in the ” Vitameatavegamin” scene, another where Hayes will be the title role in the chocolate factory and Mullally will recreate the grape stomping moment. McCormack will play Ricky Ricardo in all the classic scenes with others rotating playing Fred and Ethel.
The scenes are to be played out exactly like they were in the original series. The writers did not want to mess with the formula of the show and know that these scenes are so perfect that they didn’t want to botch it.
Will & Grace airs Thursdays at 9:30 PM ET on NBC.
