Louie Anderson to Star as Talking Cat in a New Live Action Comedy

If you thought that title was weird, yup. According to a report from Variety Louie Anderson will star and executive produce a new multi camera comedy called “Tigsley” for FOX. When you think talking cat normally what comes to mind is a cute CGI character or a puppet. But Anderson will instead be in full costume and makeup playing an obnoxious insult hurling cat.

Anderson and Mike Sikowitz developed this series together. Sikowitz is writing and producing. Abraham Geisness is also executive producing. Sony Pictures Televison and Fox Entertainment are producing.

This could be the best thing ever as I still fondly remember him voicing himself in the animated series “Life with Louie” back in the 90’s. Now putting that voice to him in a “cat suit” could be pretty awesome.
