Just days into its global release, Joker has climbed the IMDb rankings and into the top 10 films of all time.

The Dark Knight (2008) was formerly the only comicbook movie to pervade the god-tier of IMDb’s top 250 films. Considering that w impressive, just wait until you her about what place Joker has made it. Just days into it’s release.

Todd Phillips’ latest film about the Clown Prince of Crime is climbing the rankings. Amid the 10, Joker is ranked ninth.

Joker, who’s title character is played by Joaquin Phoenix also has an 8.8 rating – built from 167,464 votes on the renowned movie website. It was initially believed to have more of a split audience, but it is clear that many are enjoying it much more than they are hating it.

But how long Joker will be having its time in the sun is as of yet unknown. It has happened in the past that many titles have made it’s short claim to fame on the list only to fall off the chart soon after.

As per Box Office Mojo, the film has amassed $248m worldwide – which are pretty impressive stats even if it isn’t on the level of Endgame.

Joker remains controversial and perhaps that is the reason for it’s success. We would like to know how you felt about the movie. If you haven’t watched it, it is still in theaters. So let us know what you think about this news in the comments below.
