This Fresh RPG is Never Frozen

The Fast Food Chain Wendys is well known for their quirky and attention grabbing social media posts. Most notebaly on Twitter, the company spends a lot of time on the platform on appealing to many different fanbases.

Earlier today they tweeted out their own guidebook , Feast Of Legends – a tabletop RPG book themed around the restaurant.

As stated in the Websites description,

The nation of Freshtovia has been the lone beacon of hope in the land of Beef’s Keep for decades. However, the Ice Jester and his rogues gallery of frozen fiends threaten Queen Wendy’s reign of prosperity. Prepare your heroes for adventure.

The book ( a free downloadable PDF) mainly consists of : a core rule book, character creation, five part campaign as well as a monster/item guide. The items in the book are influenced, modeled and inspired after food. These range from weapons, monsters, items, environments , enemies ect.

With illustrations by Alex Lopez and maps by Collin Fogel , the module comes fully loaded with full color images and areas.

The book is similarly structured to the Dnd Beginners Guide, providing an easy starters kit for those new and old to tabletop systems. They even provide an online dice roller.

    • These are a short example of the encounters available in the book
    • The French Fry forest is composed of several different areas, each one meatier than the last

Even Critical Role are going to be streaming a Game of Feast of Legends, on their twitch Channel, Thursday at seven.

So what’s your opinion on the system ? Do you Love the companies creation or is it just another marketing tactic ? Let us know in the comments down below !
