Kevin Hart has had a successful back surgery following the events of Sunday morning. He is expected to make a full recovery and needs to stay in the hospital for a few days. The driver who was later identified as Jared Black and the other passenger Black’s fiance Rebecca Broxterman are both doing ok. Broxterman suffered only minor injuries. Black was taken to UCLA Westwood for suffering back injuries of his own.
Hart originally purchased the muscle car for himself as a 40th birthday gift. It was Sunday morning when Jared Black lost control of the vehicle turning too hard onto Mulholland from Cold Canyon Road in Calabasas. The vehicle rolled down the embankment trapping both Black and Broxterman. Hart was able to crawl away and was picked up by his personal security team and taken home where he was accessed. He was then taken to Northridge Hospital.
Eniko has been by his side for the duration of the hospital stay and commented that he is feeling as “good is to be expected right after surgery”. He is expected to make a full recovery.
