The first season of Matt Groening’s Netflix animated fantasy series Disenchantment had us laughing and impressed. A flip and twist on your average princess tale, packed with humor and references to fantasy pop culture. With Season 2 releasing soon, a teaser trailer has been released giving us a first look into the future of the series.

The teaser picks up directly after the end of the first season and shows Princess Bean (Abbi Jacobson) mourning the death of her friend Elfo (Nat Faxon). What a dark way to give us a tease. However, not all is lost when it comes to her friend. Apparently he is able to communicate through a blue fire.

The trailer came with the following comment in a tweet from Netflix:

“If you’re like me you probably haven’t stopped thinking about Elfo since season one ended. Good thing [Disenchantment] Part 2 arrives in September 20th!

    Groening himself has said:

“We’re excited to continue this epic journey with Netflix. Stay tuned for more cranked-up suspense, infuriating plot twists, and beloved characters getting knocked off.”

Well, we are glad to see excitement from the team, that is always a good sign.

What about you? Are you excited about what season 2 may possibly have in store for us?
