Vandalism is defined as an action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property. As of Monday the Hollywood city council had a vote. Keep the star and just deal with the recent (well more like weekly) vandalism that is plaguing around the star or to remove it. In a unanimous decision, the star is to be removed. Last year they spoke and have since then debated about the removal for some time now.
Mark Hamill who is widely known for speaking against 45 took to Twitter a few months back with a rather agreeable replacement for said spot. I have to say I agree 100% on his choice.
Hollywood has said they can no longer stand behind someone who doesn’t have the best interest of Hollywood in mind. For example, his treatment of women and minorities. And since we are in the ballpark for naming people here are a small list of people whom I believe deserve a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
