Disney head Bob Iger announced that a new Loki series starring Tom Hiddleston will debut on Disney’s new streaming service “Disney+” in the United States sometime in late 2019.
Disney is pulling out the the big guns for it’s new steaming service line up. As it stands now, it’s safe to assume that we’ll be hearing more Marvel and Star Wars show announcements for Disney+ in the next few months.
After the announcement we received a little tease from Hiddleston on his Twitter page in relation to the shows announcement.

Aside from the show being announced, no other details have been released regarding the show, but of course we have a ton of questions like..where does this set in the MCU timeline.
We all saw (spoiler alert to those that live underground, in a bunker, eating jolly ranchers that haven’t seen Infinity War) Thanos squeeze the life out of Loki in the first 10 minutes of Infinity War.
We also assumed that Loki wasn’t going to play a big role in Phase 4 of the MCU.
Regardless of the unanswered questions, we’re excited to see more Marvel properties hit the screen.
What do you think of the new show announcement? Is Loki the right character to have his own show?
Is there another MCU character more deserving?
